Can Ozzy Osbourne not legally have anything to do with the song Iron Man unless it’s Black Sabbath related?

I’ve never heard of him doing it in solo shows, and I haven’t even seen it on his solo greatest hits compilations even though Paranoid and War Pigs are on all of them unfailingly. Also, any word on him touring and hitting the states in the near future? I’ve never seen him live and I’m dying to, I’ve seen footage and he’s freaking awesome live as well as in everything else.

i like ozzy, well, young ozzy. i don’t reckon he’d be too fantastic currently but who knows.

hm, fascinating…but maybe he just chooses not to do it? :/.
I’d reckon that if he can do the other songs, there shouldn’t be a limit on something like Iron Man..but then again the band’s been involved in some lawsuit-y type things lately, so..you never know.

and I reckon Ozzfest is coming owing to here soon?
    Ozzy *should* be headlining.

There are a couple other songs that Ozzy doesn’t do either and life a musician I would probably say the band playing for him didn’t want to do those songs or he just didn’t do them or can’t do them. He did the vocals so he dose have some rights and I am guessing that he went over officially authorized rights with Black Sabbath be for putting on his solo career.

On his Prince of Darkness baby book he does a solo version of Iron Man.
Also here is Ozzy doing it live, no Black Sabbath.
