Do private guitar lessons get harder as I make progress?
Right now I just play each string one by one and not 2 strings at once or anything
Does it harder and harder everytime I make progress with confidential guitar lessons?

No, but as you conquer one objective you need to go to another and increase, and hone your skills as you go. I’ve been playing awhile and am considered advanced, I would be bored with a beginning lesson, on the other hand, you would be overwhelmed trying some of my lessons.
I don’t reckon it gets harder with every lesson. You make leaps from one realm to another from time to time. Often you don’t grasp this until it has already occurred.
But, the more you learn about guitar and composition theory, composition writing, composition business, the more you grasp how much you don’t know. the more you know, the more you know you don’t know. Kinda works against you except you have the attitude that it’s a life long pursuit and the more knowledge you can gather and know the better.
Why would you want to keep learning things you have already learned? Of COURSE the lessons get harder because any competant teacher will constantly push you to increase.
You have so much to learn just so you can brag that you know the BASICS of playing a guitar, that you have another year or two before you can earn any bragging rights.
