How do you “tap” on Guitar Hero?
I’ve looked for tutorials, but I still don’t know how. I place my hand on one end and the other on the other 22 far right buttons. Is there some secret button I’m missing to strum? I have GH3 and World Tour.
My guitar has like 5 consecutive boxes down on the far right end after the buttons. What’re those for?
Thanks!
Both on Xbox 360.
What is your game on is it on the ds?
This is how you fingertap on guitar hero 3:
Youll see during a song that there are two different kinds of notes. first the basic notes that require you to use the strum bar. the second kind is glowing notes, the green, red, yellow, blue, and orange notes that are much brighter and whiter than the other notes. those are hammer on and pull off notes. (there is a tutorial of this in guitar hero 3) these notes can follow after a basic note, meaning that you have to hit the basic note right before the glowing notes, then you just tap the buttons with your fingers. if you happen to miss a note, you need to strum on a glowing note to start the fingertapping part again. it takes a while to get used to and dont feel that you have to fingertap every glowing note. you can always strum glowing notes too, theres no penalty.
For GH World Tour:
Glowing notes work the same way as in guitar hero 3.
This time there is a third kind of note. these notes are noticably clear compared to the basic notes. this allows you to use the the touch strip on the neck of the World Tour guitar. the five consecutive boxes that are colored in the same sample as the fret buttoms, (so youre not confused) and they are used to add effect to the playing encounter. if you dont want to or if you have an older guitar without the touch strip, then you can fingertap for these too on the fret buttons. the only difference between this fingertapping and the glowing note fingertapping is that you dont have to strum on these notes at all, even if you miss.
This is the absolute best way I can describe this in words. I hope this helps you out.
