How to play barre chords 577, 355, 799 on guitar?

I’m trying to learn how to play Mortician’s Daughter by Black Veil Brides on my guitar owing to a youtube tutorial and it says that it’s just barre chords 577, 355, 799 but I don’t know what this means, or how to play it! Help please? Thank you!

I guess you use your index finger to barre the lower-numbered fret, then use your other fingers to hold the strings 2 frets to the right (if you’re a righty).

  • Nicholas says:

577 means 1st finger on the A string fifth fret and 3rd finger on the D and G string 7 fret OR 577 means 1st finger on the E string fifth fret and 3rd finger on the A and D string 7 fret
Same for the other 2 positions but 3 means 3rd fret etc.
