DAVID CROWLEY FOR
CONGRESS
CAMPAIGN NEWS
SPECIAL NEWS
On July 8th, David Crowley was selected as an alternate for the Republican
47th Assembly District Central Committee. He is the alternate for outgoing
chairperson Cathy McLaughlin. His term as alternate expires in January of
2009.
9/15/2008 - Not too much going on right now. I have several events
which will be posted
on the website calendar by the end of the week. In addition to precinct walking,
I will also be
putting out my doorhangers starting this week and running through to the
election.
On another note, it has now been 3 months since I sent a letter to "Do-Nothing"
Diane Watson
asking her to participate in at least one debate. There has never been an
answer from her,
her District Office, or her office in Washington. It may just be me, but
I think that if you
receive a letter from one nominee to another, you owe a reply to that
nominee.
10/31/2008 - We have received 3 new endorsements. Please check them
out on the
Endorsements page.
We have updated our Contributions page to include
a link to Donationpages.com. This is an
alternative for those of you who may not trust Paypal.
CALENDAR
9/16/2008 - The Westside HQ for Victory
08 has been open for about a month. On
Tuesday, September 16, Meghan McCain will be stopping in for a few hours
to meet
volunteers at the phone banks as well as the local candidates. This is a
chance for YOU
to become involved in the Republican campaigns. I will be there and I anticipate
that
several other local candidates will be there, including Lady Cage-Barille,
the 47th
Assembly candidate, and Brian Gibson, who is running against Jane Harman
for
the 36th Congressional District seat.
Daily until 11/04/2008
- Precinct walking through the 33rd district. David
Crowley
will be meeting and talking with the constituents of the district in 1 -
4 different
polling precincts every day. Air your views about the "do-nothing" incumbent,
what YOU expect from a representative and talk about the issues affecting
your life.
11/04/2008 - Election Day! I will be attending the election night
party in Downtown
Los Angeles at the Marriott. I will also try to attend the County GOP party
in the
City of Industry that same night, but no promises on that one.
If I am the winner, there will be further information as to what happens
next.
If I lose, I will start a NEW campaign on January 2, 2009
