It sucks that Rhoads had to die. The only excellent thing that came out of it was that the world got to see some really excellent guitarists step up to fill the spot. No disrespect to Randy…he was a right pioneer. Only a couple bands, like Ozzy and KISS had a knack for life able to find clad successors to their lead guitar icons over the decades. Not a replacement…you can never replace the originals.
