My boyfriend already had an ipod and downloaded music for it. The music is saved onto our computer and I am trying to figure out how to put some of those songs on my new ipod. How do I put songs that are already purchased/downloaded on a new ipod?

My iTunes library, for whatever reason, keeps deleting itself. This has already happened twice, and I want to be able to take the music off my iPod and put it in my ‘My Music’ folder, just in case something ever happens to my iPod. Any way I can do this without downloading some outside program off the internet?
Austin’s way almost worked, except there were no other folders in the ‘Music’ folder. Any other places I can look for those folders?

How to convert music to from one computer to another?

I’ve been thinking of getting a new computer, but the one thing I’m worried about is how to convert my music from my old computer to my new one. I use iTunes and have a windows computer, but I think I’m going to get a macbook. Does anyone know how to convert my music to another computer? I have about 1500 songs. Thanks.

I know they have an account on Y!A (so this might be dangerous for me bahaha…), but through the many changes and reinventions they’ve made over the years, I’m curious to see what the R&P crowd feels about the magazine.
Oh, and for the love of all things sacred, do me a favour:
do not base your answers on who they have or have not put on their cover before — I know most of you would bash them based on some of those choices alone (I’m tempted to name celebrity names, but I won’t…), and besides, it’s a very minute part of the whole package.
