It Has Been on a Huge Rush Kicking This Week
It has been on a Huge Rush kicking this week, ever since watching that outstanding documentary on the band. (Even if you don’t like their composition, really there’s no way you can despise the guys in the band after considering this movie.) So just imagine the excitement when you heard that a new journal of Guitar Hero is coming in September based on Rush’s 1976 incredible epic 2112. Exclusively, the 20-minute, seven-song suite that opens the baby book is the focus of the game. The choice-winning and much-admired documentary about RUSH, called “Rush Beyond The Lighted Stage”, arrived on DVD and Blu-ray after premiering and winning the Audience Choice Choice at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival this past April. The film, which traces the band’s complete career from the late Sixties until now, made its TV first performance on June 26 on VH1 Classic. The band released two new tracks, “Caravan” and “BU2B”, online and will return to the studio after the tour to complete its next baby book, titled “Clockwork Angels”. RUSH received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on June 25 in Los Angeles, with the band inducted by SMASHING PUMPKINS frontman and longtime fan Billy Corgan.
After years of getting pigeonholed as a band for nerdy men (a stereotype even the musicians have excellent-naturedly embraced), Rush has become a family encounter, judging by all the fathers with young children in the spectators when the Canadian trio performed Monday at Mohegan Sun. Allocated as the “Time Machine Tour, the rocking band’s two-set, 25-song performance built-in the entirety of Rush’s 1981 baby book “Moving Pictures. The group embraced the time-machine concept in other ways, too, starting each set with a kooky video involving alternating versions of Rush, outrageous fake mustaches and guitarist Alex Lifeson in a stout suit. The legendary rockers Rush have found themselves on the receiving end of a lawsuit after an annoyed fan sued the band for canceling a recent performance. The class action was filed by Rush fan, Christopher Langone who took umbrage with the group’s cancellation of their Chicago show due to terrible weather on July 7th.
Rush, the significant Canadian p Iconic progressive rock band who first hit the heights of fame in the late 1970s and early 80s, are set to have a 20-minute song featured in the upcoming video game Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock. The seven-part opus “2112″ tells the tale of a man who discovers a lost guitar hidden in a cave and attempts to bring peace to warring worlds, as the Warriors of Rock storyline is about finding a renowned guitar spellbound in a cavern in order to save rock’n'roll composition. The legendary band Rush’s visit to SPAC comes just shy of a month into its Time Machine Tour, which centers on a theme of compelling spectators during the band’s decades of hits in a funky “time machine” ever-present on the stage. Since 1974, the Canadian trio has sold over 25 million albums in the United States alone and its string of consecutive gold (24) or platinum (14) studio albums places Rush third all-time in the rear the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. The rocking band has landed its work on both radio and the charts, with tunes like “Spirit of Radio,” “Tom Sawyer,” “Closer to the Heart” and “Limelight” bringing Rush mainstream exposure in the ’80s. The group has also proven a consistent concert draw for decades.

Hi!
I have a 14-year ancient student who is a “C” student. She knows it and is determined to increase on it. She has questioned me (a composition teacher) what kind of composition will help her in her studies.
I have sort of heard about listening to composition by Bach can help infants in their learning. But, what about teenagers? Is this scientifically proven? Are there excellent information on the internet?
Please help and advise.
Thank you.
