Can I learn quicker that way because I want to play guitar in my institution in around 2 months.

What’s your reason for you to avoid learning guitar?

I learn guitar by:
1.) Download guitar tab from internet
2.) Practice the song
3.) Jam with acquaintances
Do you reckon this method can help me mend my guitar skill?
Btw, I really don’t know the composition terms such as minor, foremost, flat, sharp, 5th, 6th, chords progressions, root chords and etc..

Im wanting to write my own composition and be able to play some basic guitar stuff… any books or thoughts? also should i be learning on acoustic?

i’m 17 years ancient and i want to learn how to play the guitar, but i don’t really have the time to take lessons…i saw a commercial on tv for the “i can play guitar” game for kids. i’d be really interested in something like that but i don’t know if it’s too small…i read that it was specially made for children’s hands…
anyways…please help.

i just bought an acoustic guitar and i bought a dvd to learn it doesn’t help me can you recommend any excellent books or even simpler can you give me a website with a excellent teaching tips.

Hi, how can I learn guitar without having to pay for lessons? Youtube is very unorganized…. Could someone post a link? Also I am in band and a few guys play guitar. Should I (also) question them for some help occasionally? My sister’s boyfriend who sold me the guitar is inane to help me, but I can hardly ever hook up with him. Also my acquaintances and I want to start a band soon, that’s why I need to learn it quickly.

And can you tell me why? Sorry, but i really want to know what will be simpler. Learning guitar is not simple, and i’ve heard that the kind of guitar you chooses helps a lot.

Playing electric guitar and singing don’t seem to be a problem – but when I’m playing electric bass I cannot sing a lot of songs. It seems that a lot of times bass playing counters what’s life sung or comes in timing that just doesn’t mesh with singing. Songs like “Stray Cat Strut” with an even beat and the words sung on each beat are honestly simple to sing and play bass on at the same time. Do you have any suggestions for other Rock & Roll songs that I can learn to sing and play bass at the same time? Thanks.
