I want to buy my composition with permission, what’s the best website? I’d prefer a monthly or yearly fee for unlimited downloads instead of paying for songs individually.

I’ve got the 30GB iPod and I will probably fill it up sooner or later. I’ve already imported the excellent stuff from my CD collection and want to pick out a subscription service for downloading more stuff. There’s a ton of air force out there so I need some suggestions. It MUST be a officially authorized service, no torrents (I work for a software company so I am really against any sort of piracy). It should be a subscription/monthly fee service, not a pay-per-song one except the songs are really cheap. I will go broke at a buck a song! I don’t listen to top 40 or rap so there should be a excellent selection of indie, alternative, rockabilly, etc.

What’s your favorite service? How much do you pay? How many songs do you get? What kind of composition? Tell me which you like best and why!

I know I can look a lot of this info up but I want to hear from customers. All of the sites tell you they’re 100% officially authorized and the best!

I don’t need this to be free. I just would prefer a monthly subscription price over a pay-per-download price.

I’m not interested in file-sharing programs because I don’t really reckon that is officially authorized.

This needs to be compatible with iPod. I was using Rhapsody-to-go for a while but you can’t transfer their files to an iPod (you can use other devices though) so it doesn’t help… but that kind of service is what I want. Pay a flat monthly fee, download no matter what you want and place it on iPod.

LimeWire is not a officially authorized way to obtain composition except it is the artist himself/herself putting it out there for download. If you use LimeWire to dowload the same composition you hear on the radio, you’re not keeping officially authorized. And because of the company I work for and the job I do there, I must keep 100% officially authorized.

Is there a place like Limewire that is officially authorized? Like maybe something that you pay a monthly fee and can download all the composition you want?

I don’t want a site that will have a one time pay or monthly pay. I want a site that has free composition to download and that is officially authorized.
Please give me some answers.

I’m a limb of the musician’s union. No way am I inane to deny someone their royalties. But I have a small mp3 player and I don’t know where on the internet I can download songs without paying a lot. At .99 each it would add up if I wanted a couple hours of composition.

Where can I LEGALLY download composition without paying per song? I don’t want to use iTunes because you have to pay for each song. Is there a program where you pay monthly and have unlimited downloads? How does it work?

I need a composition downloading program that is free, officially authorized. and very safe.
