What is the best Michigan university for music?
Although my son will probably foremost in a technological field, such as commerce, we are also looking for a strong composition school. In our neighborhood, there seems to be a rivalry amongst the MSU composition grads and the CMU composition grads. Are these the best schools for composition? Why such a rivalry?

Lansing’s Riverfront Park has replaced the sound of composition with the sounds of cleanup crews. The week-long Common Ground Composition Festival wrapped up and crews aren’t wasting any time getting the park back to normal. Crews are packing up the stages and putting away the tables and chairs.
