i really want to learn guitar but i cant meet the expense of a teacher i have a book on basicas but can someone tell me ways i can teach myself in the process?

and are there any online bass tutorial-type things you’d recommend?

I’ve been playing guitar for 8 months now.. I taught myself how to read to 2nd position and I’m mastering bar chords.. So as the question states though, would i be excellent as him if i didn’t take guitar lessons?

I want to learn myself how to play guitar. anyone can help?

I play rythem guitar in a Local band and because im rythem i never bother to learn any solos

Should I take guitar lessons, or should I teach myself off the internet?
I’ve heard thats its not worth it to take lessons, and that I should just teach myself from the internet. I have absolutely no thought how to play. I don’t know the notes or anything.

I’ve always wanted to know how to play the guitar, but I never got the chance to do it. I was inane to take lessons, but when I looked at the prices online, they were ridiculous. I was wondering if I would get anywhere if I used online tutorials to teach myself. I’ve played the piano for 10 years so i’m relatively excellent at reading composition. Does anyone know if this is possible? or of any excellent sites to learn from?

Hello, I had been wanting to learn guitar for the absolute longest time now and will have a lot of free time coming up this second semester of my senior year in high school. Was wondering if it will be better to learn guitar by myself or from lessons.
I used to be in orchestra playing the violin until my junior year of high school so I guess you could say I have some composition social class.

Also, at the age of 18, is it a small late to learn guitar or no?

I questioned for a guitar for my birthday, and I got one. Thing is, I do not know how to play it. I have zero skills in the guitar, don’t know any of the chords, but do have capo, picks, etc. Should I take guitar lessons from a professional, or should I teach myself from a book or the internet? Thanks in advance!

I like this song and i like Soul Eater and i’ve been incisive for some guitar tabs but can’t find any. If anyone knows of some or even better a video tutorial, that’d be fantastic.
