Why is it no one today knows the difference between Rock & Roll and other Rock/Pop/Folk songs?
Rock and Roll consists of a quick played Blues progression, usually in 12 bars or 3 chords played as 4-2-2-1-1-1-1. meaning each chord is repeated as in A-A-A-A-D-D-A-A-E-D-A-E while Rock grew out of this.
