Well recently i have been looking up on the internet for guitar softwares so i can learn on my own time. I need one that can help me play rock/metal. Another reason i want a software for learning because in the summer i will always busy and have no time for lessons with an instructor. So any excellent softwares out there?

I need a composition software for my pad where I can compose my own rap songs, mainly so I can make beats and instruments in the social class. I know about composition so I want something where I can in fact write the composition, not just a bunch of preset tracks to throw together. I want to make custom beats then add my own composed instrumental pieces to the beats, all within the program.

I just graduated from high school, when I was in the band I would make stuff up on the marimba all the time. My band director told me I would be a very excellent composer. I just need to know what the best tools are to compose marching band composition and orchestra composition.
