Recomendations of music books for a soprano?
I am 18 years ancient and a soprano. I have been studying composition for 9 years and seriously studying voice for about 2 years. I plot to go to institution and either foremost in musical theater or minor in voice. Does anyone have any recomendations for composition books to add to my library to build my repitoire? I have several, but I’m interested to see what people who have studied voice in institution and beyond recomend. I have a range that spans over three octaves, so there is no limit in that aspect.
What would be a good song to sing at a solo competition for a soprano? It can be anything,Broadway,rock&roll..?
I’m a soprano with a generous range: from lower alto one to descant. And like i said it can be anything from Broadway to rock and roll but it needs to be exciting, a real audience getter!!! and not in a language other than english please!
