Like I really want to learn how to play electric guitar I just wanna play because I hear it’ a excellent instrument to play And how about drums?

i really want to learn guitar but i cant meet the expense of a teacher i have a book on basicas but can someone tell me ways i can teach myself in the process?

I really want to learn guitar terribly but so many fantastic guitarist have been self taught is guitar lessons really worth it?

how long did it take you to learn a basic guitar sweep for an arpeggio?
oops i wasn’t specific enough. I can already play one, but i mean learning to play it quick.
and if you could write a excellent beginner tab to learn on.

I want to get better at guitar and want lessons online ( i don’t have a ride to in fact lessons. So i can pay for online lessons i just can’t find anywhere to take them can someone recommend a website where they let u watch videos or maybe even get hands on with a video camera? Thanks in advance

And I mean only self-studied/taught informally without compelling any formal lessons from a guitar teacher.

I know that Lars Ulrich was a self-taught drummer, and Kirk Hammett took lessons from Joe Satriani. How about James Hetfield? He’s a monster at the guitar and he’s awesome at writing beastly riffs.

When I was a small girl, my dad would watch some pbs evening news show (no, it was not the evening news w/ jim leherer) that had to do with the economy and they used the Dave Brubeck song ‘take five’ as their theme composition. That was the first time I ever heard that song; it blew my mind. This all happened in the late eighties. Anyone know? Thanks!
