How can I teach mysef to play Guitar without lessons?

I have a Guitar, It’s an Acoustic.
I would prefer any websites but if there are books tell me.
I hate lessons , it makes it difficult for me. I am sure i can teach myself.
My dad taught himself but he doesnt know Notes , and he cant read music he plays by sound. I can read music. I can play the flute… So i do know how to read music… I have some patience so i will take my time.

I’m a guitarist and I’m giving this kid guitar lessons. I am self-taught so I’ve never really had lesson experience. I know pretty much everything, but i don’t know what order to teach it so it’s at his pace of learning. I could really use like a list of stuff to teach the kid.

I’ve been playing guitar for 8 months now.. I taught myself how to read to 2nd position and I’m mastering bar chords.. So as the question states though, would i be good as him if i didn’t take guitar lessons?

Someone rw@cjp-nhrecords.com said a Grammy voting member wanting to only charge 65$ for a beginning guitar or voice lesson for 45 mins. would not be able to (if that would be the cost of a lesson) no one would hire them. How much should such a person charge?

I would like to start teaching guitar lessons as a way of making money on the side while at college, but I’m not sure if I need to start a legal business or get it approved with my school before I start looking for customers. Any ideas?

Should I take guitar lessons, or should I teach myself off the internet?
I’ve heard thats its not worth it to take lessons, and that I should just teach myself from the internet. I have absolutely no idea how to play. I don’t know the notes or anything.

I plan to teach guitar lessons from home. When is the time should I register it as a business?

do i need to register it if I don’t have students yet or let’s say if the time comes that I already have 3 or 5 ( less than 10 students). But I’m not sure if they’ll be taking lessons for years and years…
In short, the number of my students is still unstable, do I have to register this guitar tutoring as my business?
What is the IRS law on this?

I use largely my own teacher’s materials, with his expressed permission, in teaching guitar lessons myself. And of course, being in lessons as a student makes me a better teacher. I’m just not certain if this situation meets the IRS’ definition of an “ordinary and necessary” business expense. Also, if this is a viable deduction, I need to know exactly where I need to annotate it on Schedule C – “Legal and Professional Services” perhaps? Thanks in advance.
