And is it simple ?

I’ve taken a survey for school and learned that people who play composition are smarter than and read more than people who don’t play composition. But, I need to reckon of some reasons to maybe give reasons for why this is so. So far I have that people who play composition have to read composition a lot so reading becomes like second nature and also the people who play composition have very strong and alert minds because they have to count musical notes and listen carefully.
Can you please help me reckon of just a few more reasons why I force have gotten my results. Thank you!!!!!
