The place where I’m learning to play acoustic guitar offers two styles. Rock/pop/jazz and classical. Which should I take? I’ve never played guitar but I’ve been playing piano for five years now, if that makes a difference. Also, what’s an example of a classical song for the guitar and what’s an example of a rock, pop, or jazz song for the guitar?

I really need a excellent song to backup my pictures from my family’s summer lake vacation. composition that wouldnt hurt my grandparents ears (no screamo!) and that would convey an appropriate message for the event. can you help?

I’m doing a weather broadcast skit in a class, and I need some news type composition. I’ve tried typing in news composition, but that won’t work. I need an actual name of a song. PLEASE HELP!!! thank you.

I have a ESP f-100 series. I am not that excellent at the guitar. I dont take lessons and cant. But i want to learn and become excellent at the guitar for free. I wont to learn screamo and heavy metal type stuff. And dont just say “read tabs,” because for some reason, all screamo havy metal songs are very hard on the guitar. And im really not that excellent at the guitar.

I am a DJ but feel uncertain whether or not I can do 18th birthday parties because I don’t know what type of composition they would expect:

A) Mainstream Top 40 hits (which I am capable of, as long as I frequently listen to Kiss 100 and the chart show).

B) Underground dance composition that didn’t enter a mainstream chart (which I am not capable of cos you only hear that stuff in clubs and I am under age).

My natural instinct goes with B but I have my doubts.

I like to listen composition while I am sleeping but sometimes the kinds of composition I listen to will wake me up. Any suggestions?
Also, i need names of artists if possible.

I tend to listen to different composition depending on what I am writing. I like classical or opera, and sometimes country. I find if I listen to something that I am familiar with, I get less distracted.

What are some of the bands or musicians you listen to when you write?
What type of composition do you prefer to listen to when you write?

I like 80′s rock composition, and want to learn guitar so that I’ll be able to play a lot of those songs. What’s a excellent pathway to take? Any specific books/videos you’d recommend?

Because i really like that type of composition and i want to look up some more artists like that but i want to know the genre first. Can anyone help?
