VOLUNTEERS

We are a feisty grassroots organization looking for volunteers of all ages
from across the human spectrum. We currently have need of people in
the following areas for this campaign's volunteer workforce:

Translation:  Needed are people who can speak and write fluently in the
following languages - Spanish, Armenian, Thai, Korean, Tagalog and
other languages to be announced. Must also be very fluent in English.

Phone Bank: Primarily to help the Candidate with fundraising and
polling purposes. For these jobs, a pleasant voice AND a pleasant phone
personality are necessary. You will need thick skin as people will hang
up on you abruptly. This is the top need in our campaign at this time.

Door-to-Door Walks: People with a good deal of stamina are needed to
help with the Candidate making walking visits to the homes of voters in
the 33rd District. Please note that this will require a lot of walking and
a pleasant personality. You may have doors slammed in your face.

Precinct Captains: We are looking for people to check precincts during
the June Primary and ensure that people are getting to their correct
polling area and that everything is proceeding smoothly in the precincts.
You will also be responsible for precinct walking to ensure that
our message gets delivered to every door in your neighborhood.

Get Out The Vote: Partly phone bank and partly door-to-door, these
are the people who will be largely responsible for helping voters go to
their polling stations on Election Day. GOTV will also be responsible
for checking that absentee voters have their ballots finished and mailed.

These are the current primary positions in the volunteer area. More may be added

We are also looking for people with campaign experience to be our
campaign manager. You must have worked in at least 3 local or federal
