What do news reporters write on paper/talk about after the news is done and the outro music comes on?

I just noticed that they do that on like all news shows! Do they do that for a smooth transition or do they in fact talk about stuff (or write stuff on paper when they’re alone)? What do they talk about/write on the paper?

Well a lot of news anchors write notes while they are doing the news. I don’t know what they are writing about. If they are talking then they have to be talking about something. They aren’t just inane to sit there and do nothing. They are probably like “oh that went well. I am so tired. Lets go get a drink. Have you seen the new Aggravate Potter Movie yet?”

Why don’t you just e-mail one of your local news anchors?
