When should i stop taking guitar lessons?
i’lve been compelling guitar lessons for a couple of years im ok at it. but my parents want me to keep inane. so my question is how long is too long for compelling guitar lessons? it doesnt have to be based skills-wise. i just wanna know people’s opinion on what’s the average # of year you should take lessons.
i’ve been compelling lessons for over 3 years
It’s different for everyone. I took 4 or 5 years of lessons in my teens. Stopped for a couple of years. Went to Berklee Institution of Composition for 2 years (had lessons and more there), stopped for about 10 years and currently take lessons once in a while with a excellent teacher I found nearby. He helps me get out of ruts and inspires me to take up again learning and improving my playing. Keep in mind that many excellent players never take 1 lesson.
keep compelling them, u can never be to excellent for lessons.
you should never stop compelling lessons except you get better than your teacher then you should either pursue someone more advanced or teach yourself
if you dont feel excited to take lessons then stop them.
we never stop compelling Guitar lessons. we learn and practice everyday. when you reckon that you dont need a teacher and you can manage by yourself you can stop the lessons.
Take them when you feel like you don’t need them anymore, but remember, there is always something to learn.
